Bastian von Bömches , actually Friedrich Bastian Ritter Bömches von Boor , also Bastian Bömches von Boor, (born May 23, 1986 in Engelskirchen ) is a German actor .

Life

Bastian of Bömches comes from an originally Transylvanian Brasov in Romania -based family of artists. His grandfather was Friedrich von Bömches , an important painter of the 20th century, his mother is the actress Ingeborg Meyer . Bastian von Bömches attended the Rhein-Maas grammar school in Aachen , which he left after completing his technical college entrance qualification to begin his acting training.

Bastian von Bömches already worked as a child and adolescent in theater and opera productions, including 1995 as a street boy in The Good Man of Sezuan at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen and in 1999 at the Stadttheater Aachen as Piccolo in La Bohème (director: Waldemar Kmentt ). In 2002 he worked at the “Theater Brand”, an independent private theater in Aachen, in the children's theater production One Week Full Saturdays by Paul Maar . In 2004 he appeared at the “Theater Brand” as Lukas in the children's theater production Jim Button and Lukas the Locomotive Driver.

From 2003 to 2007 he did classical vocal training as a baritone with Merit Schneider and Melanie Forgeron in Aachen. From August 2008 to July 2013 he completed his acting studies at the Berlin University of the Arts with a diploma. In 2014–2015 he also did acting coaching with Sigrid Andersson at the acting agency Die Tankstelle in Berlin .

Already during his training he played in theaters in Berlin . In 2009/2010 he took on the role of the servant Balthasar in Romeo and Juliet in a production by Nuran David Calis at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. He had other engagements at the Theater an der Parkaue (2009), at the Hebbel am Ufer (2011) and again at the Maxim Gorki Theater in 2010/2011. In 2011 he took over the role of Tom in Tennessee Williams ' play Die Glasmenagerie (director: Simon Kubisch) at the BAT studio theater of the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art. In 2012 he played the small speaking role of the servant in Paul Hindemith's one-act opera Sancta Susanna in a semi-staged production at the Berlin Philharmonic .

In 2012/2013 he played the leading role in Roland Schimmelpfennig's play The Golden Dragon at the Deutsches Theater Berlin as "Asian with Toothache" . In 2013 he was a guest at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam . In the play The King behind the Mirror , a world premiere by Rudolf Herfurtner , he played the role of the bat. In the children's play Der Diener und seine Prinz by Gertrud Pigor (* 1958), he played the role of the prince, directed by Marita Erxleben . In 2013 he appeared in a small role (as a warrior in Siegfried's entourage) in the production Hebbel's Nibelungen - born to die at the Nibelungen Festival in Worms, directed by Dieter Wedel . In 2013 he made his first guest appearance at the Alten Schauspielhaus Stuttgart as a young ensign Ullmann in a stage version of Wolfgang Petersen 's hit movie Das Boot .

In the 2014/15 season he appeared at the Schlosstheater Celle in the roles of King Alfons / Nepomuk / Oberbonze in the children's theater production Jim Knopf and Lukas der Lokomotivführer . In 2015 he took on the roles of “The Narrator” and Pete in the play The Sacrifice of Gorge Mastromas by Dennis Kelly at the Schlosstheater Celle (premiere January 2015 in the Malersaal). As the narrator, von Bömches took over the introductory monologue of about half an hour before the action began.

Bastian von Bömches also works for television. While still at school, he initially had episode roles as a television actor in various scripted reality formats. Since 2009 he has appeared in short films and television productions. He played the architect Kai in the comedy series Schmidt - Chaos on Prescription .

In 2014, he had a leading role in the ARD television series Ein Fall von Liebe . He played the detective Heiko Müller, who cannot come to terms with the death of his brother and who follows his ex-lover as a "stalker". In the second season of the German thriller television series You Are Wanted (2018) by the streaming provider Amazon Video by and with Matthias Schweighöfer , Bömches plays the role of BND agent Manuel Borchert. In the ZDF series Kreuzfahrt ins Glück (2019), Bastian von Bömches played one of the main roles in the "Honeymoon on the Cyclades " as a groom who had to go on an unplanned honeymoon with his mother and mother-in-law.

Bastian von Bömches is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS). He lives in Berlin.
