The Höllenberg is a 580 meter high elevation in the Bavarian Forest in the Straubing-Bogen district on the territory of the communities Haselbach and Neukirchen . The highest point is in the area of the municipality of Neukirchen, near the Oberkogl district , three kilometers as the crow flies northwest of the center of Neukirchen. The Haselbacher districts of Höllberg , Höllhaus and Höllgrub in the valley are located on the western slope . The Höllbach rises on the eastern slope and flows over the northern slope to the west into the Buchetbach .
