Pierre Marcel Krause (born October 5, 1976 in Karlsruhe ) is a German television presenter , author , humorist and actor .

education

After graduating from high school, Krause completed an apprenticeship as a banker . Afterwards he did his community service in 1999 in a nursing home of the AWO Karlsruhe, on the weekend he moderated on a voluntary basis in the clinic radio. In Cologne he began a language course, which he did not like.

Pierre M. Krause made short films, some of which were awarded prizes (“Damenbesuch”, “Der Atemräuber”). Krause applied for a film to various television stations and production companies while still a student.

The boss of Dasding agreed with Krause's films, so that Krause was given the opportunity to develop and moderate the television program Dasding.tv . As a result, Krause broke off his language studies after four semesters. After three years, Krause gave up moderating the show in 2005.

Since January 2005 he has moderated and designed a weekly, 30-minute late-night show on SWR television - The Pierre M. Krause Show , which runs until 2007 SWR3 Ring Frei! and then until February 2016 it was called SWR3 latenight . Here he welcomes prominent guests in the studio and produces film clips for the show. Along with Anneta Politi he moderated at irregular intervals SWR3 radio show SWR3 Dance Night Club Saturday 19:00 to 12:00.

For several years now, Krause has been moderating the Baden-Baden New Pop Festival in the lounge on the Fieser Bridge.

Private

Krause lived in Neuweier until 2012 . His book Here you can sit well deals with the experiences made there. At the moment (as of 2019) he lives in Karlsruhe .

Awards

Krause was nominated for the German TV Prize and the German Comedy Prize with the program TV-Helden and won the former. In 2011 the show It's About My Life! , broadcast on EinsPlus , twice nominated for the Grimme Prize . There was one nomination for Krause as a presenter, the other for the show in general.

In 2014 Krause received the Robert Geisendörfer Prize in the “Television as a presenter” category (on behalf of the Germany around the world team. Israel in Berlin ).

The association “Bund Freiheit statt Baden-Württemberg” (BFsBW) has awarded Krause the title “Badener of the Year 2015”.
