Jeannine Michaelsen (born December 23, 1981 in Troisdorf ) is a German television and radio presenter as well as a musical performer .

life and career

Jeannine Michaelsen grew up in the area of Königswinter in the Siebengebirge . After graduating from the local high school on the Mount of Olives , she began training as a stage actress (dance, singing and acting) at the 2001 Stage College in Hamburg . She completed her training in 2004 as a stage actress with distinction.

Michaelsen then had various acting engagements on television or in musicals, including a leading role in the 2007/08 musical Westerland at the Delphi Showpalast in Hamburg. She became better known from 2008 as the presenter of the Internet television program Ehrensenf . Since then she has moderated various television programs, including since 2011 the knowledge magazine X: enius of the Franco- German cultural broadcaster Arte . From April 2012 to February 2013 she hosted the program log in together with Wolf-Christian Ulrich on the special- interest channel ZDFinfo . She could be seen there on the program Sport Xtreme , in which she conducted interviews with prominent athletes in an extreme sport and also tried out the sports herself. For the European Football Championship 2012 she appeared as a presenter in the ZDF reporting from the Baltic Sea beach on Usedom .

Since 2012 she has hosted the show Joko gegen Klaas - The Duel Around the World . The show was nominated for the German Television Prize and the Rose d'Or in 2012 . Since May 2013, she and Simon Beeck have been performing the afternoon show every four weeks on the radio station 1 Live . In 2013 and 2014 she also moderated the Night of the Raging Bulls .

In January 2014 she hosted the entertainment show Millionärswahl together with Elton on ProSieben and Sat.1 . From 2014 to 2018 moderated Michaelsen on VOX in the connection of singing my song - The exchange concert broadcast documentaries Artists Story .

In February 2015 she hosted the program Die TV - Willkommen im TV-Wahnsinn together with Pierre M. Krause and Philipp Walulis . In December of the same year she was a participant in the Circus-HalliGalli -Show Das Duell um die Welt . From 2015 to 2017 she hosted the show Ponyhof on TNT Comedy (formerly TNT Glitz ) together with Annie Hoffmann . Since April 2016 she has also hosted the ProSieben entertainment program The Best Show in the World . In 2017 she had an appearance as a participant in the Sat.1 cooking show The Taste - "Celebrities on the spoon" .

In 2019 she moderated the awarding of the Golden Camera on ZDF together with Steven Gätjen .

Michaelsen lives in Cologne and has a daughter (* 2009).
