Simon Beeck (born February 7, 1980 in Görlitz ) is a German radio and television presenter .

Beeck has been on the radio since he was 15 years old. During his A-levels in Bremerhaven , he moderated the community radio station Offener Kanal Bremerhaven . From 1999 he completed a two-year radio traineeship at Radio Wir von hier in Bremen in the morning show. From 2002 to 2011 Beeck moderated at Bremen Vier ( Radio Bremen ).

Since October 2008 he can also be heard on 1 Live ( WDR ). At 1 Live he presented the afternoon show Beeck & Böhmermann every two weeks until April 2011 together with Jan Böhmermann and the very best on Saturday . In the summer of 2011, he presented the station's summer program alternately with Tobias Schlegl , Linda Zervakis and Joko Winterscheidt . From April 2012 he broadcasted from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, alternating with Schlegl and Chris Guse at his side. Jeannine Michaelsen came as Schlegl's successor in May 2013 . The two moderated together until April 2015. Since August 2013, Tina Middendorf has been moderating the afternoon broadcast on 1 Live with Beeck instead of Guse.

Since January 2018, after more than ten years of double moderation, he has been moderating the program alone from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Beeck also moderated the ARD Popnacht from Bremen from 2003 to 2006 .

From 2003 to 2013 he presented the Heartbreaker's Ball , according to information from the organizer, the largest single party in the north. In addition, Beeck hosted the monthly Bremen Comedy Club and the annual Bremer Comedy Prize from 2008 to 2011 .

Since 2012 he has also been working as a presenter on television. His show Kampfansage took second place in the TV Lab on ZDFneo . In November 2014, Beeck presented one of the three anniversary programs on WDR television on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Geld oder Liebe . In August 2015 he moderated the two-hour afternoon program "Couch Club" as part of the WDR's innovation weeks.

In December 2013 and December 2014 Beeck moderated together with Michaelsen the award ceremony of the 1 Live Krone , which u. a. in was transferred to Das Erste . In 2015 he presented the largest radio award in Germany, according to the broadcaster, together with Tina Middendorf . In January 2016 he and Michaelsen presented the documentary I will love on WDR television .

In October 2018 he presented the program " Dinner Party - Mein Song, Dein Song" on Sat.1 . Guests in the music talk format included Clueso , Samy Deluxe , Wolfgang Niedecken , Joris , Revolverheld , Bosse , Eko Fresh and Sebastian Krumbiegel von den Prinzen .

Since 2019 he has hosted the program "Dinner Party - The Late Night Talk" on Sat.1 and receives a prominent guest every week with whom he speaks about his life.

In September 2019, Beeck took over the job of voiceover and commentator for the reality TV format “ Love Island ” .
