Fatoni (born December 8, 1984 in Munich ; bourgeois Anton Schneider ) is a German rapper and actor .

Life

Fatoni grew up in Munich. He did his community service in a kindergarten and was then trained as a nanny. In his childhood he was a fan of the Beatles .

In 2000 he founded the band Creme Fresh in Munich together with the rapper Keno and the producer Bustla . Until the group broke up in 2012, the band released four albums and one EP. At times, Fatoni was active in the U20 sector of the German-language poetry slam scene, primarily in the Munich area. Until 2010, Fatoni and his band members were also part of the brass band Moop Mama , but then went solo.

In 2011 Fatoni's first solo album, Solange earlier everything was better, was released, and in 2013 he released the collaboration album Nocebo with Edgar Wasser . His EP followed in the following year, Time heals all hypes . In 2015 Fatoni released the C'mon! EP to which Edgar Wasser, Dexter and Occupanther Beats contributed.

In the same year Fatoni released his album Yo, Picasso together with Dexter . The record entered the German album charts at number 23 when it was released. Philipp Grütering aka Kryptik Joe from Deichkind can be heard as a guest . Fatoni's mixtape Im Modus followed in March 2017 , on which old companions such as Edgar Wasser, Dexter and Juse Ju can also be heard as Maeckes , Retrogott and the electro-pop band Grossstadtgeflüster .

In October 2017 the album Alle Liebe was released , which Fatoni recorded together with the singer Mine . The two had previously collaborated on Mine’s song Ziehst du mit . The record was nominated by the Prize for Pop Culture 2018 in the categories Favorite Album and Most Exciting Idea / Campaign . Fatoni's next solo album followed in 2019 with Andorra , which entered the German album charts at number 9.

In addition to his rap career, Schneider is active as an actor. He studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School and was seen in various productions in Munich, including at the Münchner Kammerspiele . After a guest engagement at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt , he played in the ensemble of the Augsburg Theater from 2013 to 2015 . Since 2015 he has also hosted the program Die Fatoni Show on Radio Puls every second Friday of the month .
