Kerstin Descher

Kerstin Descher (* 1969 in Bonn ) is a German opera , operetta and concert singer with a mezzo-soprano voice .

Life

Kerstin Descher grew up in Bonn. She completed her singing studies at the Cologne Music Academy with Monica Pick-Hieronimi and attended master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender , Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau , Irwin Gage and Tom Krause . Between 1998 and 2001 she played at the Pforzheim Theater and had many guest appearances, e.g. B. at the Gewandhaus Leipzig and in the Beethovenhalle Bonn. Until 2007 she had an engagement at the Theater Vorpommern . She then moved to the Augsburg Theater, where she was a member of the ensemble until 2017.
