Anne Lenk

Anne Lenk (* 1978 ) is a German theater director .

Life

After studying theater studies in Giessen, she completed an apprenticeship as a theater director at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich, which she completed in 2007.

This year she made her debut as a director with Liebelei by Arthur Schnitzler at the Körber Studio Junge Regie in Hamburg and at the Young Actors Project at the Salzburg Mozarteum.

Also in 2007 she began working as a freelance director at the Augsburg Theater. There she staged u. a. Drums in the Night by Bertolt Brecht and Maria Magdalena by Friedrich Hebbel .

In Bochum she directed Brecht's Mr. Puntila and his servant Matti and the uncertainty of the situation by Philipp Löhle . In addition, Lenk worked at the Residenztheater in Munich, in Lübeck, Aachen, Vienna and Osnabrück.

Since the 2018/19 season, Anne Lenk has been in-house director at the Schauspiel des Staatstheater Nürnberg .
