Tjark Bernau

Tjark Bernau (born February 8, 1981 in Lingen ) is a German actor and theater director.

Life

Tjark Bernau, who grew up in Bad Reichenhall , began studying physics at the University of Regensburg after graduating from high school . After his intermediate diploma , he completed an acting training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich , which he successfully completed in 2008.

While studying acting, Bernau took part in various productions at the Otto Falckenberg School, including Das Käthchen von Heilbronn , directed by Anne Lenk, and Der Wolf ist tot , directed by Stefan Otteni .

In 2008 he was a guest at the Münchner Kammerspiele in Down Understanding . Directed by Schorsch Cameroon . He was also seen in 2008 at the Augsburg Theater in the title role in Clavigo , directed by Jan Philipp Gloger . For this production Jan Philipp Gloger was awarded the Director's Prize of the Bavarian Theater Days 2008.

Tjark Bernau has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Augsburg since the 2008/2009 season . In addition to numerous other roles, he has since appeared as Freder in Illness of Youth , as Mortimer in Arsenic and Top Hat , as Johannes Vockerat in Gerhart Hauptmanns Einsame Menschen , as Galy Gay in Mann ist Mann and as Franz Moor in Die Räuber .

In addition to his stage roles, Bernau also plays in film and television roles. He is also involved in various radio play productions, most recently in Kalteis for Norddeutscher Rundfunk .
