Taça das Nações

The Taça das Nações (Portuguese for: Cup of Nations ) was an international soccer tournament in which four major soccer nations took part. It took place in Brazil in 1964 on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Brazilian Football Association. Argentina , Portugal and England were invited . The games took place in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in late May / early June.

The tournament also served the nations to determine their position two years before the football World Cup in England. Argentina won all games and won the tournament.
