Ute Fiedler

Ute Fiedler (* 1961 in Ratingen ) is a German theater actress and dramaturge .

Life

Fiedler grew up in Heiligenhaus near Düsseldorf. After graduating from high school, she began studying theater studies and art history in Munich , but then switched to training as an actress in 1982 at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich, which she successfully completed in 1985.

She made her debut at the Münchener Kammerspiele. There she worked, for example, with the directors Thomas Langhoff and Alexander Lang . Then she went to the municipal theaters in Dortmund , the Ulm and Freiburg theaters . In 1991 she received the sponsorship award of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for young artists .

Since 1997 she has made guest appearances in Zurich, Basel, Bern, Potsdam and Bonn, and in Bonn as a guest dramaturge for the play Drei Mal Leben .

From 2003 to 2006 she was engaged in the Association of the Mannheim National Theater, for example as "Daja" in Nathan the Wise , "Louise" in Joke Beiseite , "Minna" in Minna von Barnhelm , "Emilia" in Othello , "Gertrud Stauffacher" in Wilhelm Tell , "Frau Anton" in Maria Magdalene and as "Kiki" in Auf der Greifswalder Straße .

There she played "Iokaste" in King Oedipus , "Véronique" in The God of Carnage , "Queen Elisabeth" in Maria Stuart , in the title role of Euripides' Helena, "Lyubow Andrejewna Ranewskaja" in Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard and "Marthe Rull" in The Broken Jug , Afra / Theres in The Brandner Kaspar and the Eternal Life , Widow Shin in The Good Man of Sezuan , "Queen Gertrud" in Hamlet, Prince of Denmark and "Big Mama" in Tennessee Williams The Cat on the Hot Tin roof (Director: Matthias Fontheim ).
