Anatol Käbisch

Anatol Erik Jonas Käbisch (born July 21, 1992 in Bad Bodendorf ) is a German actor .

Life

Anatol Käbisch grew up in Bad Bodendorf. He attended the free Waldorf school in Bonn . During his youth he attended the MovieKids stunt school near Cologne . Anatol Käbisch gained his first theater experience during his school days. After graduating from high school, he was part of TheaterTotal in Bochum for a year . In the role of Osip in the play Platonov by Anton P. Chekhov he made a three-month tour of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

He then attended the acting course at the Alanus University in Alfter for a year until he began studying acting at the Music and Art University in Vienna in 2013 .

During his studies he played at the Theater der Jugend and the Theater Dortmund . In 2015 he met Claus Peymann for the first time , who hired him for Peter Handke's Die Innschuldigen, I and the Stranger on the edge of Landstrasse at the Burgtheater in Vienna . During his studies, he was employed by Claus Peymann at the Berliner Ensemble . There he worked with Leander Haußmann , Robert Wilson , Philip Tiedemann , Achim Freyer and Manfred Karge, among others .

Since the 2017/18 season he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Augsburg under the direction of André Bücker , where he played the title role of Peer Gynt in the play of the same name in the opening production of the season.

In addition to his theater work, Anatol Käbisch took part in several film and television productions.
