Roberta Valentini

Roberta Valentini (born August 30, 1981 in Nuremberg ) is a musical performer with Italian- German citizenship.

Life

After completing secondary school, Valentini first completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk in Nuremberg, and she also performed as a singer with the band pino barone . From 2002 to 2006 she completed the musical diploma course at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich.

Her younger brother Enrico Valentini is a professional soccer player at 1. FC Nürnberg .

Career

Valentini gained his first experience in the field of musicals during his studies, among other things as Eponine in Les Misérables at the Court Theater in Nuremberg. At the Bregenz Festival in 2003 she was part of the ensemble of Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story and was there in 2004 in the role of Francisca and in the concert performance of Bernstein's Wonderful Town . In November 2003 she appeared as Daisy in the musical Fletsch - Saturday Bite Fever on the stage of the Akademietheater , a year later she appeared in the Prinzregententheater as a soloist in the gala Bring on Tomorrow . In Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, she appeared in the same place in March 2005 as Florinda. Then she was seen at the Thunerseespiele in the musical Elisabeth as Countess Esterhazy and in the title role. At the Munich Metropolitan Theater she played Mrs. Kendall in Der Elefantenmensch and at the Braunschweig State Theater she gave Chava in the musical Anatevka .

From October 2007 Roberta Valentini was seen in the musical Wicked - Die Hexen von Oz at the Palladium Theater in Stuttgart, where she alternately cast the role of Elphaba, which she also took on again in the Metronom Theater in Oberhausen from March 2010.

From January to May 2009 Valentini played the leading role in the musical Marie Antoinette in the Musical Theater Bremen . She also sang in several band formations. From September 2011 she could be seen as Florence Vassy in the musical Chess at Theater Bielefeld , and since then she has appeared on stage there in a number of productions. From November 2011 to May 2012 she could be seen as Ulla in the musical Kein Pardon at the Capitol Theater in Düsseldorf.

In 2012 and 2015 Valentini was a soloist at the musical gala Summer Night of the Musical in the Burgtheater Dinslaken . In recent years she has been a guest star, for example, in the musical ballads Unplugged solo program by musical actor Mark Seibert or at the Stanke ohne Strom concerts by Patrick Stanke . As a soloist she was also part of the tour The Greatest Musical Hits of All Time - the big five of the German musical , in which Pia Douwes and Alexander Klaws also participated. From July 2014 Valentini appeared on stage as Henriette in the world premiere of the musical Casanova by Stephan Kanyar in the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau . From November 2014 she also played the title role in the tour musical production ELISABETH - the true story of Sissi , in which she also made her debut in Shanghai. The tour made guest appearances in a number of German cities as well as Linz in Austria and ended in Hamburg in March 2016. In the summer of 2016, Valentini took on the role of Morgana in the musical Artus - Excalibur at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg . There she also played the role of Beatrice in the musical Rebecca and the part of Fiona in the musical Shrek the following summer . She also returned to the Bielefeld Theater to be on stage again as Cathy in a revival of the musical The Last Five Years and to take part in the world premiere of the play The Molecule , which premiered in May 2017. In the world premiere of the play Herz aus Gold , a musical that tells the life story of Jakob Fugger , she played for the first time in 2018 for the Augsburg Theater and shaped the role of Fugger's lover Sibylla senior . From October 2018 to January 13, 2019 she could be seen as Molly in the musical Ghost - Message from Sam in the Operettenhaus in Hamburg. From November 2019 she will also play this role at the Palladium Theater in Stuttgart.

Apart from the musical stage, she took part in the seventh season of the singing casting show The Voice of Germany in 2017 , where she was eliminated in the “blind auditions”.
