Second phase: the battle round
The Battle Round was recorded in Berlin from September 5 to 7, 2017 and broadcast in four television programs from November 19 to 30, 2017. In Samu Haber's group of 20 candidates, seven one-on-one duels and two three-way battles took place; In the other three groups, the 19 candidates fought eight one-on-one duels and one three-way battle. The respective coach selected a participant from each battle directly into the next phase. As in the third to sixth seasons, some inferior battle candidates also got into the next phase if one of the other coaches took them over ( steal deal ). All four coaches each took on a candidate from a different group, so that all four coaching groups with ten participants went into the next phase.

tour
As since the second season, some participants in the show went on a tour of Germany. In the final it was decided by televoting that in addition to the four finalists, the two semi-finalists Lara-Samira Will and Gregor Hägele could take part. Since BB Tomaz decided against participating in the tour because of family obligations, semi-finalist Dzenan Buldic moved up. Benedikt Köstler missed the start of the tour in the Bayreuth Upper Franconia Hall because of a cold that was delayed.
