Fourth phase: finals
The final took place on May 9, 2014. As in the previous year, the show was recorded and broadcast in the evening because the youth protection department does not allow the underage participants to appear on stage at late hours. The announcement of the winners was broadcast live. First, the finalists performed the title This Moment by Katy Perry with last year's winner Michèle Bircher . Then the finalists of each team performed together with their coach. At Team Johannes the song was Iris from the Goo Goo Dolls . For Team Lena it was Big in Japan by Alphaville as interpreted by Ane Brun and for Team Henning it was I Love You by Woodkid feat. Angel Haze . All candidates also had a solo appearance. Then the coaches had to decide which of their two candidates they would go with in the so-called “voting round”. These three, Carlotta, Richard and Danyiom then each sang one more song. Meanwhile, the audience voted live by phone. The winner of the show was Danyiom.
