Woodkid
Woodkid (born March 16, 1983 in Lyon ; real name Yoann Lemoine ) is a French musician and director who is under contract with the French record label Green United Music , founded in 2007 . Woodkids music can be assigned to the genres indie and rock. As a director, he shot the music videos for the songs Faut-il, faut-il pas? (2009) by Nolwenn Leroy , Teenage Dream (2010) by Katy Perry , Back to December (2010) by Taylor Swift and Born to Die (2011) by Lana Del Rey .
The single Iron was used in 2011 for the trailer of Assassin's Creed: Revelations . The chief designer of Dior Homme and Kris van Assche let himself in late 2011 for his designs of the held in black and white Iron - music video inspired, called the Dior -collection Autumn / Winter 2012-13 Men's A Soldier on My Own and chose Iron as Background music for the collection's fashion show at the end of January 2012 in Paris .
In the play Das Duell , which premiered on March 27, 2013 at the Volksbühne Berlin , the director Frank Castorf used Iron as background for a scene.
In 2013 Run Boy Run was used for the first trailer for Techland's computer game Dying Light and by Vodafone in a commercial; it is also the theme music for the Sat.1 / ProSieben show Got to Dance . In 2014, Ubisoft used its music again and used the title The Golden Age in a trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity .
