Your Song is a piece of music by the British pop singer Rita Ora . The single was created in collaboration with singer Ed Sheeran . On May 18, 2017, Ora announced the song as the first single from their 2018 album, accompanied by a video with lyrics.

According to Ora, they recorded Your Song in minutes. On May 26, 2017, Ora released the song as their comeback single and first single from their second studio album. It is their first single that was not released on Jay-Z's record label after Ora had terminated the contract and moved to Atlantic Records . In the lyrics she expresses her feelings that she no longer wants to sing lovesick songs and that she is happy to sing about love. Ed Sheeran sings the background in the chorus. To market the piece, Ora presented the song in numerous television shows, including in Germany. She sang the song at The Voice of Germany , where she posed as a candidate, and at the Bambi Awards. On June 22, 2017, Ora released the accompanying music video, which was shot in Vancouver, Canada. The music video has had more than 22 million views so far.

The title reached number 7 on the UK Singles Charts and number 8 on the Irish charts, depending on availability . In Germany, Austria and Switzerland it is her most successful song to date. The song sold more than 2 million copies and achieved platinum status.
