Nick Howard (born April 24, 1982 in Brighton ) is a British singer-songwriter . He got musical influences from The Beatles , John Mayer , Jason Mraz , The Script , Oasis and Coldplay .
Career
In 2008 he released his debut album Something to Talk About . Howard's songs have been used in several television shows and films. He was on tour with various artists, e. B. with Gavin DeGraw , Lifehouse , Jack Johnson , Boyce Avenue , Sunrise Avenue , Counting Crows and Tyler Ward .
Howard's second album When the Lights Go Up was released on Ferryhouse in April 2011 . A solo tour through Germany took place as part of the Falling for Europe Tour in the first half of October 2011.
Numerous advertising spots have already been accompanied by Howard's songs (Apple, Nokia, Tommy Hilfiger, Vogue).
Nick Howard applied for the second season of the talent show The Voice of Germany in 2012 and was chosen by all four coaches at the “Blind Auditions”. He chose Rea Garvey's team , where he emerged victorious and made it to the final on December 14th. With his own semi-final song Unbreakable , he was only the second most successful participant in the charts, but he still won the competition by a clear margin over the other three finalists. His debut single Unbreakable rose to number 36 in the German single charts on December 21, 2012 and to number 5 after winning the final.
On November 1, 2013, Cascada released their first acoustic album Acoustic Sessions , which includes a duet with Nick Howard. Howard and the lead singer of Cascada, Natalie Horler , recorded the song Breathless in an acoustic version.
