Boyce Avenue is an American alternative rock - band from Sarasota , Florida . The band name is composed of the names of two streets in which the brothers with Spanish roots lived in their childhood. On YouTube , her channel has over 4 billion views and 13 million subscribers .

Band history

In 2000 the brothers Alejandro and Fabian started playing guitar at the age of 14 and 16. Just three months later they had their first appearance with Daniel in front of about 350 guests at Pine View High School, their high school at the time . Alejandro and Fabian then stayed in Florida to study at the University of Florida , while Daniel went to Harvard Law School . The band was founded in 2004 after Daniel returned to Florida. The brothers continued to write and play music, and perform at local events.

The band recorded their first three singles in late 2006 at Nickel and Dime Studios near Atlanta , Georgia .

In 2007 Boyce Avenue began recording some of her own songs and acoustic versions of songs by other artists and sharing them with the world on YouTube . The cover versions of well-known songs like Viva la Vida by Coldplay or Rihanna's Umbrella spread quickly and the band's videos were clicked several million times within a year. The cover songs were also released on five EPs under her own independent label 3 Peace Records . At the same time Boyce Avenue continued the recording and production of further own songs and gained additional stage experience with live performances. They also had great success with their songs in several songwriting competitions.

On March 11, 2008, the release of their debut album All You're Meant To Be .

Boyce Avenue gave their first standalone concert in New York City in January 2009 . Since then, the band has been touring all over the world non-stop. A high point of their career so far were the appearances in the Philippines , where they played in front of an estimated 25,000 people.

At the end of 2009 the band had recorded all the songs for their new album and financed it themselves. The album should now also be released via 3 Peace Records . That plan changed, however, when the Universal Republic Records label , a subsidiary of Universal Music Group , approached the brothers to help with the album's release. Boyce Avenue signed the contract in November 2009.

On March 16, 2010 the first single Every Breath was released and on March 20, the corresponding video was released. On June 15, 2010, the album All We Have Left , which contains the band's first single and revised old songs, was released.
