Hey is a song by the German pop singer Andreas Bourani . The track is the fourth single from his second studio album Hey .

Creation and artwork

The song was written by Andreas Bourani, Julius Hartog, Jasmin Shakeri and Philipp Steinke . The single was recorded and produced by Philipp Steinke; It was co-produced with the help of Andreas Bourani and Julius Hartog. The piece was mastered in the Blacksheep studio in Düsseldorf under the direction of Peter “Jem” Seifert and the Skyline Tonfabrik, under the direction of Kai Blankenberg. The song was also mixed by Jem at Blacksheep Studios. The piece was published under the music labels Universal Music Group and Vertigo Berlin and distributed by BMG Rights Management , EMI Music Publishing , Edition Most Wanted and Edition Viertelkind . On the orange cover of the maxi single you can see - in addition to artist name, logo and song title - Bourani, with arms outstretched from behind. The cover picture was shot by Dirk Rudolph and Harald Hoffmann and designed by Dirk Rudolph.

Publication and promotion

Music video

First, with the release of the album Hey, a promotional video with an acoustic version of the song was released. The official music video premiered on December 22, 2015 on YouTube . You can see Bourani, who stands in the middle of a dark warehouse, surrounded by screens , and sings the song. Bourani's live image can be seen on the screens in black and white from different angles .
