Philipp Steinke is a German composer , songwriter , musician and music producer .
Musical career
Solo career
Musical beginnings and breakthrough (2004–2013)
Steinke began his career as a studio musician for numerous artists. He first appeared in 2004 when he can be heard on the organ on the album Rock 'n Roll with a Little Bit of Style by the German pop rock band Shine . This was followed by other recordings of various instruments for acts such as Jasmin Wagner (Die Temptation) , Michelle (glass) and Revolverheld (chaos theory) . Steinke has not only worked as a studio musician, but also as a producer since 2010. The first project that Steinke accompanied as a producer was the pop duo Boy from Germany and Switzerland. First he produced their first EP Hungry Beast . The following year he produced her debut album Mutual Friends . The album reached the charts of all DA-CH countries and became a top 10 success in Germany and Switzerland. In the next few years Steinke also tried his hand at composing and songwriting. In 2013 he co-produced and wrote albums for Revolverheld (Always on the move) , Bosse ( Kraniche ) , Saint Lu (2) and Desiree Klaeukens (Warm in my heart) .
Establishment and further successes (since 2014)
In 2014 Steinke started a collaboration with Mark Forster and wrote the song Au revoir with him and other co-authors, among others . This has been Steinke's greatest success to this day. The single achieved top 10 placements in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as gold and platinum awards in all three countries. So far, Au revoir has sold over 645,000 times. In September of the same year Steinke produced Lass uns geht von Revolverheld, the winning song of the Bundesvision Gong Contest . The single entered the charts in Germany and Austria. In Germany, the top 10 single was awarded a gold record. In addition to the winning song, the production of On other ways for Andreas Bourani was also involved in the competition. After the song reached only sixth place at the BSC, the single rose week after week in the charts and became a top 10 and chart success in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In other ways it reached the top 10 in Germany and Austria and was awarded gold and platinum for 315,000 copies sold. In December 2014, the second single from Mark Forster's album, Bauch und Kopf , was released, Flash mich . As with Au revoir , Steinke was again active as an author. The single hit the German and Austrian charts, in Austria even the top 10. In Germany, Flash mich was awarded platinum for 300,000 units sold. In the next few years further chart successes followed with Revolverheld, Andreas Bourani, Mark Forster, BOY and Bosse.
With bands
Along with Finn Martin , Marco Möller and Anthony Thet, Steinke is a member of the pop rock band Asher Lane. All four members write and produce the tape for the band themselves. In 2006 the band released their debut album, Beautiful Falling . The singles New Days and Beeautiful Falling were released from the album . In 2010, Asher Lane's last album New Days was released. The album was only released in Portugal and includes new songs as well as pieces from the debut album.
