Most beautiful time is a song by the German musician Bosse . It was released as the first single from his fifth studio album Kraniche (2013).

content

The best time is autobiographical. It describes Bosses youth in 1994 in a village behind Braunschweig under the influence of a love affair. His sympathy for Kurt Cobain and his band Nirvana as well as for the Canadian rock musician Neil Young is particularly evident .

“The day Kurt Cobain died,
you lay in my arms.
That was the best time.

Your first tattoo was the refrain:
It's better to burn out than to fade away, my my, hey hey.
And I bought Neil Young and a Nirvana shirt. "

- Bosses - good time

Creation and artwork

Bosses (2014)

The song was written by Axel Bosse in a disco in his home near Braunschweig. It was produced by Philipp Steinke . The single was released under the music label Vertigo Berlin and Universal Music . On the cover of the single - in addition to the inscription of the artist, the song title and the picture of a crane - you can see an artwork of the sky in combination with a yellowish background.

Music video

The music video for Schönste Zeit takes place in wintry Berlin . At the beginning you can see Bosse playing the piano on the street near Alexanderplatz to his song. In between, scenes from his youth are obviously shown, but these are modeled on by adult actors. These were mainly filmed in Görlitzer Park , but also in a private apartment. Axel Bosses wife Ayse also plays the role. Other actors included Franz Dinda and Alina Levshin . The video ends with Bosse holding a Bengalo torch in the sky on a skyscraper at night .
