Anthony Thet
Anthony Thet (born March 14, 1980 in Erfurt ) is a German singer, guitarist and songwriter.
Life
Anthony Thet studied business administration in Berlin . His father Sonny Thet , who comes from Cambodia , is a classical cellist and member of the band Bayon . In 1988 the family left for West Berlin . Anthony Thet learned to play the guitar at the age of twelve. The guitarist has been performing in front of an audience since he was 17. Since 2005 he has also worked as a live guitarist for well-known artists, including Ich + Ich , Lutricia McNeal and Natasha Thomas .
From 2006 to 2010 he formed the German pop rock band Asher Lane together with Finn Martin , Marco Möller and Philipp Steinke . Thet was the guitarist of the band, which reached number 97 in the German charts in 2006 with the single New Days .
From August 2010 Anthony Thet was seen in the first season of the German TV casting show X Factor . With juror Till Brönner as mentor, he competed in the solo singers category from the age of 25. In the sixth live show on October 26, 2010, Thet finally left the show after a vocal duel against the group Big Soul.
