Whisper is a song by the German pop singer Mark Forster . The piece is part of Forster's third studio album TAPE .
Creation and publication
The song was written jointly by Mark Cwiertnia (Mark Forster), Ralf Christian Mayer , Daniel Nitt and Philipp Steinke . The piece was produced by Cwiertnia, Mayer and Nitt. Has been arranged whisper under the direction of Philipp Steinke; the string instruments were arranged separately by Rosie Danvers. The mastering was done by Robin Schmidt from 24-96 mastering. The recordings and the engineering took place under the direction of Mayer and Nitt in the Califor Audibles and Gismo7 in Motril ( Spain ). In addition, Mayer mixed the single. The single was released under the Four Music label and distributed through BMG Rights Management and Larrabeat Publishing.
The first publication of a whisper carried out as part of Forster's third studio album TAPE on June 3, 2016. The song was never released as an official single, but gained through a cover of Michael Patrick Kelly during the opening show for the fourth season of singing my song - The exchange concert at VOX in popularity.

The lyrics to Whispering Tone are written in German. The music was written by Mark Cwiertnia (Mark Forster), Ralf Christian Mayer , Daniel Nitt and Philipp Steinke, the text by Cwiertnia and Steinke. Musically, the song moves in the area of pop music . The song is built on two stanzas as well as a refrain between the stanzas and a repeating refrain after the second stanza. The song was recorded by external studio musicians. The only musicians who played an instrument and were involved in the production at the same time are Nitt on the piano and Danvers on the cello. In addition to the cello and piano, other instruments such as the viola, percussion (double bass), the violin and other string instruments can be heard. In an interview with Alec Völkel from The BossHoss , Forster described the song as a kind of "soul striptease". Whisper is a song about himself. It is about the fact that it is easier for him to “drop his pants” on stage than to sit in a quiet corner in a one-on-one conversation and have a deep conversation with someone. Kelly sang a German-language song for the first time since he was a solo artist away from the Kelly Family . Forster himself said the following about Kelly's reinterpretation after the performance: “It was a bit like someone reading my diary to me. I felt that very much. That was a good moment. ”The song can be found on the sampler for the TV show. Kelly was able to place himself in the iTunes daily evaluations for two days with the song, but that was not enough for entry into the official German charts.
