content

The lyrics to Sowieso are written in German. The piece was written by Christoph Bauss ( Shuko ), Mark Cwiertnia (Mark Forster), Michael Geldreich, Jules Kalmbacher and Fridolin B Walcher, together with Ralf Christian Mayer and Daniel Nitt they were all responsible for the creation of the compositions. Musically, the song moves in the area of pop music . The tempo is 128 beats per minute . The song is built on two stanzas as well as a refrain between the stanzas and a repeating refrain after the second stanza. “Whatever happens, it'll be fine - anyway.
A new door always opens - somewhere.
Even if things are not going well - as usual.
Anyway, it'll be fine, anyway. "

- Refrain, original excerpt

In terms of content, the point is that in some situations caused by mishaps one should not despair, but instead should look positively forward. The song should "exude" optimism and joie de vivre, especially in troubled and uncertain times the title should give courage. Forster was inspired for the piece during a trip to New Orleans in the United States . He was there for a few days and saw a "brass crew" on a street corner who played "unbelievably" and he recorded it on his cell phone. You can hear this inspiration very clearly, the song begins directly with a brass section. Forster himself said the following about the song as part of the music show Sing my song - the exchange concert : “One and a half years ago I wrote the song, that was a song about me and my good mood, I was in a good mood. I somehow think the song still suits me and still fits my emotional state, but now it's more of a song for me. "

Music video

The music video for Anyway was released on YouTube on May 10, 2017. You can see a man's working day (played by Milan Peschel ) in which all things go wrong. The morning begins with the fact that he is in the shower and has no towel to hand. The toaster doesn't work at breakfast, the toast tears when smeared, and the jelly drips onto his shirt. On the way to work, he notices that his car has been parked. So he has to run into the office in the rain. There the computer doesn't work properly, the coffee is gone and he catches a couple in a secret liaison. During his lunch break, he misses the trash can when he tries to throw away his trash. In the office he again targets a trash can and this time hits. Now his mood suddenly changes, he runs through the hall, throws the files in the air and begins to dance. Little by little his colleagues join him from the office and follow him dancing. They dance to the front of the building, where at the end the man is lifted into the air. The total length of the video is 2:40 minutes. Directed again and again Kim Frank . To date, the music video has over 44 million views on YouTube (as of May 2020).
