Mark Seibert (born April 9, 1979 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German musical actor .

Life

He began his dance career during his school days, to which he devoted himself in the following years. First, however, Mark Seibert began studying business administration , which he broke off a short time later and only successfully completed a distance learning a few years later. Instead, he switched to the University of Music and Performing Arts, but he also broke off this course to begin training at the Vienna Conservatory . He completed this degree in 2005.

From March 2004 to January 2005 he played the angel "Pygar" at the Raimund Theater in Vienna . In 2005/2006 Mark Seibert was seen in the role of “Tybalt” in Romeo & Juliet at the Raimund Theater in Vienna, from November 2006 as “Radames” in the musical Aida in Berlin, Leipzig, Bregenz and Munich. From November 2007 to September 2008 he was the first cast of "Fiyero" in Stuttgart at the German premiere of Wicked - Die Hexen von Oz on stage. From December 2008 to January 2010 he was on stage in Berlin as "Ranger" in the musical adaptation of the film Der Schuh des Manitu .

From January to March 2010 he toured Germany with Best of Musicals . From March 2010 to October 2011 he was the first cast in the musical We Will Rock You for the role of Galileo. From October 2011 to 2012 he was on tour in the role of Death with the successful musical Elisabeth . He then played the role in the Vienna Raimund Theater . In 2014 he played the title role in Jesus Christ Superstar and also the role of Lancelot in Artus - Excalibur until September 2014 . In December 2014 Seibert again took on the role of Death in Elisabeth , first in Shanghai, then in Essen and in Munich. Then he played with Mozart! in Vienna. In February 2016, Stage Entertainment announced that Mark Seibert would be the new Count von Krolock in the musical Tanz der Vampire in Berlin. He played this role until mid-July. In February 2016, the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien announced that Mark Seibert would take over the title role in the new musical of the same name, Schikaneder , from autumn . The play celebrated its world premiere on September 30, 2016 in the Raimund Theater in Vienna.

In 2010 his first solo album, Musicalballads, was released unplugged . After further albums and solo concert series, he released the best-of album Mark Seibert - So Far! His greatest musical successes so far! with songs from his engagements, on which, among other things, already known songs were reissued or translated into English. The musical actors Roberta Valentini , Ana Milva Gomes , Barbara Obermeier and Sabrina Weckerlin are represented as guests . In autumn 2019 he appeared for the first time as Edward in the musical Pretty Woman next to Patricia Meeden in Hamburg.

Together with Jan Ammann , Patrick Stanke and Christian Alexander Müller , Mark Seibert performed for the first time in 2010 as the vocal formation “Musical Tenors”. He also appears in the vocal formation "The Milestones Project".

Seibert lives in Vienna and is in a relationship with the musical actress Sabrina Auer.
