Patrick Stanke
Patrick Stanke (born December 19, 1979 in Wuppertal ) is a German musical actor , actor , singer and director .
Life
He started his career in 1996 in the ensemble of the TiC Theater in Cronenberg . He played the role of Jeff Barry in the European premiere of Leader of the Pack, the role of Wally in I Love My Wife, Sammy in Blutsbrüder and Easy in the Berlin hit musical Cefé Mitte by Volker Ludwig . After his school career, Stanke trained as a musical actor at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding . During his apprenticeship he already had numerous appearances in regional musical productions, such as B. in Guys and Dolls by Frank Loesser and the semi-opera King Arthur by Henry Purcell .
After his training he played Frederick Barrett in Titanic , D'Artagnan in 3 Musketeers and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Mozart . Appearances in Jekyll & Hyde and Jesus Christ Superstar followed , each in the title role. In 2009 he played in the musical Marie Antoinette to Count Axel von Fersen .
In 2012 he was again on stage at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg as Count Axel von Fersen in Marie Antoinette . From November 2012 Patrick Stanke took on the role of Joey at Sister Act in Vienna for two months. In the 2013/14 season he played the role of Ché in the classic musical Evita at the Wuppertaler Bühnen . Patrick Stanke played the title role at the premiere in 2014 of the Frank Wildhorn musical Artus in the St. Gallen Theater . Also in 2014 he played the title role in the premiere of the Stephan Kanyar musical Casanova at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau. From 2016 to 2017 he played the role of Kerchak in the Disney musical Tarzan at the Metronom Theater Oberhausen for one year . At the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg he played Jean Valjean in Les Misérables in the summer of 2018 . Patrick Stanke is a founding member of the Musical Tenors group, to which Jan Ammann , Christian Alexander Müller and Mark Seibert also belong. He is regularly on tour with his solo concert series Stanke without electricity . In addition to his stage engagements and solo concerts, he is a sought-after soloist at concerts and gala events.

Patrick Stanke has also worked as a director since 2008. Among other things, he staged Der kleine Horrorladen , Hair , Hairspray at the TIC Theater in Wuppertal and, in 2013, the world premiere of Britta Sabbag's bestselling novel Pinguinwetter . In autumn 2014 he directed the musical classic La Cage aux Folles (Musical) - A Cage Full of Fools. In 2013 he also directed the touring production of the musical " 3 Musketeers " and at the same time played the role of D'Artagnan, with which he was already successful in Berlin in 2005/2006. In 2015 and 2016 he took over the direction of the world premiere of the musical Mozart Superstar by the Deutsche Musical-Company Cologne at the Chamber Opera Cologne and for the tour production through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
