Britta Sabbag

Britta Sabbag (born October 30, 1978 in Osnabrück ) is a German author who writes women's literature and books for young people and children.

Life

Britta Sabbag was born in Osnabrück in 1978 and studied linguistics, psychology and education at the University of Bonn . After completing her studies, she worked for six years as a HR manager in various companies. In 2009 - "when the crisis struck" - she began to write.

Her first novel Pinguinwetter , published in 2012 by Bastei Lübbe Verlag, stayed in the top 20 of the Spiegel bestseller list for several weeks and was also successfully adapted for the theater stage. She continued her literary career with the follow-up novels Pandablues and Das Leben ist (k) ein Ponyhof . Since 2014 she writes books for young people, the partially autobiographical included ( tripping heart and heart crack ). Her children's book debut Die kleine Hummel Bommel , which she brought out together with singer Maite Kelly , reached number 1 on the Spiegel bestseller list and stayed in the top 3 for months.

She writes film concept (s), works on scripts and also offers writing seminars in her own courses.

She lives in Bonn.
