The Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport is an international airport in Yaounde , Cameroon . It is 16 kilometers south of the capital.
The airport corresponds to some European airport standards, there is a terminal, ten check-in counters , four boarding gates , as well as restaurants and cafes.
The airport is big enough to accommodate a Boeing 747 . In 2004 there were 190,487 passengers.
Airlines and destinations
In addition to Camair-Co , three European airlines fly to Yaoundé, namely Air France , Brussels Airlines and, since the end of 2012, Turkish Airlines . There are also various intra-African connections, e.g. B. to Kenya and Morocco .
