Natalja Bojewa ( Russian Наталья Боева , scientific transliteration Natal'ja Boeva , * 1989 in Leningrad ) is a Russian opera singer ( mezzo-soprano ).

life and work

Bojewa studied choral conducting and singing at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory and the Ekida University in Saint-Petersburg and completed her bachelor's degree . She sang in numerous oratorios , gave concerts in recitals and made her debut at the St. Petersburg Music Theater as Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte

After graduating, she sang Angelina in Rossini's La Cenerentola and Noah's wife in Britten's Noah's Flood at the St. Petersburg State Music Theater Zazerkalie and made her debut at the Hermitage Theater in 2016 as Judith in Bluebeard's Castle . At the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro she sang Maddalena in Il viaggio a Reims . From 2016 to 2018 Bojewa completed the master's degree in “Music Theater” at the August Everding Theater Academy in Munich , where she studied singing with Christiane Iven .

Bojewa won the ARD International Music Competition in 2018 for singing and also received first prize in this competition for the best interpretation of the commissioned composition by Stefano Gervasoni .

From the season 2018-2019 Natalya Bojewa ensemble member at the State Theater Augsburg , where he was including as Preziosilla in Verdi's La forza del destino , as Charlotte in Massenet's Werther and as Jackie Onassis in the European premiere of David T. Little's John F. Kennedy to experience.
