Jihyun Cecilia Lee

Jihyun Cecilia Lee (* 1989 in Suwon ) is a Korean opera singer with a soprano voice .

biography

Jihyun Cecilia Lee studied from 2008 to 2012 with Jungwon Park at the Hanyang University in Seoul and then with Rudolf Piernay in the master's degree in concert / lied singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim . Master classes with Ruth Ziesak , Ulrich Eisenlohr, Hans-Peter Stenzl, Axel Bauni, Burkhard Kehring and Peter Nelson complemented her training. In the 2015/16 season she was a member of the opera studio at La Scala u. a. the Pamina in a children's version of the Magic Flute . She has been a permanent member of the Augsburg Theater since the 2017/18 season .
