Ronny Miersch (* 1985 in Lauchhammer ) is a German actor .

Life

Miersch grew up in Senftenberg in Brandenburg , where he also passed his school leaving examination. He then completed an acting course from 2005 to 2009 at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . During his studies he played in the studio of the New Theater Halle / Saale.

From 2008 to 2013 he was in the festival ensemble of the Schauspielhaus Bochum . There he played "Leonce" in Leonce and Lena (directed by Anna Bergmann ), "Krogstad" in Nora (directed by Elmar Goerden ), "Stefano" in Der Sturm (directed by David Bösch ), and "Laertes" in Hamlet (directed by Jan Klata ) . He was also awarded the Bochum Theater Prize in 2012 .

Since the 2013/14 season he has been a. active as a guest in Münster, Augsburg, Bochum and Berlin. He worked with Christian Brey at the Münster Municipal Theaters and with Katharina Thalbach at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin . In 2014/2015 he appeared at the Augsburg Theater as "Brick" together with Jessica Higgins in The Cat on the Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams .

With the leading role of Josef K. in The Trial at the Hersfeld Festival 2019, Miersch won over the night critic.

He has lived in Cologne since 2015.
