Alexander Darkow

Alexander Darkow (* 1980 in Berlin - Pankow ) is a German theater actor .

Life

Darkow, born in East Berlin , obtained his Abitur at a humanistic grammar school in Berlin-Wilmersdorf . He then did his community service in a methadone clinic with integrated drug help in Berlin-Kreuzberg .

He then studied drama from 2002 to 2006 at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig .

From 2006 to 2008 he had his first engagement at the Rudolstadt Theater , where he appeared as “Prince” in Emilia Galotti and as “Mercutio” in Romeo and Juliet .

His second engagement was at the Heilbronn Theater . There he played as Mesrin in Marivaux ' The dispute , as "Paul" in fire face of Marius von Mayenburg and "Schweinl" in Disco Pigs .

From 2011 to 2017 he was in the Augsburg Theater Association . There he worked as “Schreiber Licht” in Heinrich von Kleist's Der zerbrochne Krug , “Spiegelberg” in Friedrich Schiller's Die Räuber , “Damis” in Molière's Tartuffe and in the plays Israel, mon amour , The Magician of Oz , Minna von Barnhelm , Ursprung of the world and arsenic and lace .

In the 2017/18 season he worked as a freelancer. For the 2018/19 season he was permanently engaged at the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg .
