Mathias Schulz

Mathias Schulz (* before 1997 in Berlin ) is a German opera singer ( tenor ).

Life

Schulz studied singing with Maria Corelli in Berlin . He then made his debut at the City Theater in St. Gallen and then went to the National Theater in Weimar. Since 1997 he worked as a guest a. a. at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, at the Hanover State Opera, at the Cologne Opera, at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf, at the Saarbrücken State Theater, in Wiesbaden, Kassel, Nuremberg and Braunschweig, at the Gera Theater, at the Magdeburg Theater, at the Mainfrankentheater in Würzburg and at the State theaters of Saxony.

Internationally he sang at the Volksoper Vienna, the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck, the Budapest State Opera, the Cairo Opera, the Maribor State Theater, the Ljubljana Opera House (Slovenia), at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Teatro Reggio in Turin, in Catania, at the Teatro Mallorca, at the State Opera Bratislava-Slovakia, in Luxembourg and at the New York Annandale Festival.

2014–17 the tenor was engaged at the Augsburg Theater.
