Publishing supplements are separate sheets of a newspaper that are not part of the editorial content.

In order to guarantee the independence of journalistic reporting, the editorial department of the print media is separated from the publisher . The editorial team is responsible for the content, while the publishing house is responsible for marketing and economic matters. The term “publisher insert” is a euphemism for “advertising insert ”.
