German Comedy Award 2015

The 19th award of the German Comedy Prize 2015 took place on October 20th, 2015 as part of the 25th International Cologne Comedy Festival in Cologne . For the second time, Carolin Kebekus moderated the German Comedy Prize Awards.

The recording of the award ceremony was broadcast on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:15 p.m. on the TV channel RTL and was followed by an average of 2.48 million viewers.

In contrast to the previous year, prizes were awarded in only 13 categories. The two format categories Best Sketch Comedy and Best Hidden Camera have been replaced by the newly introduced Best Personality Show category .

On the day of the award, chaired by comedian Dieter Nuhr , the jury made up of the managing director of Köln Comedy GmbH Ralf Günther , producer Josef Ballerstaller, DWDL.de chief reporter Torsten Zarges, director Jan Markus Linhof, creative director at Warner Bros. International Television Production Bernd von Fehrn and Christiane Ruff , managing directors of ITV Germany, about the award winners.
