Christoph Sieber (cabaret artist)

Christoph Sieber (born January 19, 1970 in Balingen ) is a German cabaret artist . He lives in Cologne .

Career

Sieber spent his childhood and youth in Niedereschach from the age of two , where his father was mayor for 40 years. In addition to studying pantomime at the Folkwang University in Essen, he worked at various German theaters and with Milan Sládek in Paris . In 1995 he passed his final artistic examination with his first cabaret program, Make Up .

In 1996 he became known at a cabaret in the Mainz lower house . From 2010 to 2013 he hosted the monthly satirical program Spätschicht - Die Comedy Bühne on SWR television.

Sieber is or was a regular visitor to the institution , the Today show , total TV , Stratmanns , Volker Pispers and guests ( 3sat ) and many other television programs. He was also a regular guest on the program Ottis Schlachthof and Nuhr in the First . From September 2015 he presented the cabaret late night show Mann, Sieber! Together with Tobias Mann . on ZDF . In July 2020 it was announced that the show would be discontinued in December 2020 after the 41st episode.

From January 2021, Sieber will moderate the WDR cabaret show Mitternachtsspitzen .
