Sat.1 Comedy was a paid TV station owned by ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG , which broadcast a digital program from June 1, 2006 to May 3, 2012. On May 3, 2012 at 8:15 pm, the station was replaced by Sat.1 emotions , the successor in terms of content is more likely to be the ProSieben FUN station, which started on the same day .

The 24-hour program included self-produced and purchased German and English language (such as The Office ) comedy series and films.

Sat.1 Comedy was available via the fee-based program bouquets from Sky (only Sat), AustriaSAT , Kabel Deutschland , Unitymedia , Primacom and Kabel Baden-Württemberg as well as in the IPTV offers from Deutsche Telekom (Entertain), Vodafone, Alice Home TV from Telefónica Germany (formerly Hansenet ) and, since mid-2009, can also be received in Switzerland via Cablecom Digital TV.

Some cable network operators, for example Kabel & Medien Service in its Frankfurt cable network, fed the channel within the ProSiebenSat.1 program bouquet distributed via satellite, but did not offer it in their own pay-TV program. Since Sky only activated this channel for satellite subscribers, these households received the encrypted signal, but had no way of decrypting it.
