Weibsbilder is a sketch - comedy based on the stations Sat.1 will broadcast since of 2006. The idea for the series came from the Berlin authors Anne von Vaszary and Michael Reinhard. concept
The framework story shows three employees of a beauty salon fighting for customers, private life and breaks. The main actresses slip into very different female roles in short skits and show the female view of things, including male issues such as football and cars.
The series is designed in the tradition of the British female comedy Smack the Pony .
