Comedy Factory was a German comedy show that was broadcast on ProSieben from 1996 to 1999 .

main actor

action

The series was a sequential presentation of skits, parodies and songs, with recurring elements in (almost) every episode (see regular skits). The series was initially always broadcast on Wednesday evening, later the broadcast dates varied. In the last year of production, the presentation was changed slightly, various members of the ensemble (e.g. Otto Kuhnle and Stefan Hufschmidt) got out. Instead, a female star guest appeared in each episode (e.g. Anna Bosch or Silvia Laubenbacher ).

Regular skits

Farmer Hinnak

Ekken-Gerdes as a provincial farmer explains situations from his everyday professional life with a strong, incomprehensible dialect.

Manfred and Dieter

The two conservative brothers and old bachelors Manfred (Hufschmidt) and Dieter (Ekken-Gerdes) live in the house of their late mother and philosophize in disputes about everyday things. Manfred clearly takes the more dominant part, while Dieter mostly gives in small.

Songs against peace

Richter as a parody of pop singers (e.g. as Andy Schwarrz) with meaningless texts ("I always have to warn Hanne, you shouldn't urinate in the tub ..."). The character usually explodes at the end of the post, but before the end of the song.

The Bundeswehr

Ekken-Gerdes as lieutenant and Schneider as clumsy private Schultz depict situations from everyday life in the Bundeswehr. Krökel appears more often as a general and rebukes the lieutenant.

News from the Ekken Institute

Partly known as "The Funny World of Psychology". Ekken-Gerdes and Krökel explain certain phenomena examined by the institute (e.g. magnetism), with the two miming a married couple. Krökel always plays the part of the woman.

Two ...

Hufschmidt and Richter experience the everyday life of their environment from the perspective of two things (two testicles, two eggs, ...).

Monty TV

Arnold parodies well-known personalities from television in short stand-up interludes, e.g. B. Louis de Funès , clementines from detergent advertising or Liselotte powder .

Badly organized crime

Usually the last sketch of every episode. All actors sit around a table as Mafiosi and hatch plans that always fail in the end. Everything is discussed wildly at random until someone shoots in the air. Then Maddin sums up an alternative suggestion with childlike naivety, whereupon the rest of the crowd yells at him with “Are we girls?”.

this and that

  • The 1996 original combo released its own single in the following year: a rock cover version of the hit Ein Lied geht um die Welt by Joseph Schmidt .
  • Lou Richter later composed the hit 10 naked hairdressers for the Mallorca singer Mickie Krause . He later said in an interview that the producers got the idea while watching Richter's Songs against Peace .
