Mickie Krause (actually Michael Engels ; born June 21, 1970 in Wettringen ) is a German singer and entertainer .

life and career

Mickie Krause, who says he can neither play an instrument nor read sheet music, was a singer in a school band and group leader in the Catholic German Scouting Association St. Georg in his youth . At the age of 15 he was voted Bravo Boy. After finishing school he did two apprenticeships, as a textile finisher and as a youth and home educator. In the 1990s he was a warm-upper with Birte Karalus , Oliver Geissen and Hans Meiser . He was also the singer of the pop band Erika Rehbein and the pop carousel . His first single Anita was released in 1998 on the Ladyland label of Dance Street Records, which brought him to Mallorca Live at the Riu Palace that same year .
