Birte Karalus

Birte Karalus (born August 7, 1966 in Reinbek ) is a German journalist and presenter .

Life

Birte Karalus first studied economics and German . After successfully completing her studies, she began working as an editor at radio . She later moderated radio programs herself.

Since 1992 Karalus working in television, she moderated the RTL - talk show Birte Karalus . She also worked as a travel and traffic journalist for ARD , as a sports presenter for DSF Offensiv and RTL aktuell , as the front woman of the infotainment magazine Prompt! on ProSieben , as a presenter for tv.gusto , she entertained viewers in a large evening show (“Sex and the City”, ProSieben) and in several other programs. In November 2007 her book “Eat you beautiful, smart and sexy with functional eating” was published, a guide with expert interviews, display boards, recipes and knowledge texts. From 2008 to 2010 Karalus presenter was the Sat.1 telecast wake up . From the end of 2010 she moderated the VOX magazine Auto Mobil at the side of Peter Stützer , in 2011 she took over the show completely. She hosted her last episode of this show at the end of December, which was broadcast on television on December 22, 2013. Since March 9, 2014 Birte Karalus has been moderating for the web TV platform "Mittelstand - DIE MACHER".

Others

Karalus is the honorary ambassador of the Jane Goodall Institute-Austria . She is also an ambassador for the German Stroke Foundation .
