Roland Baisch (* 1954 in Stuttgart ) is a German entertainer , presenter and musician .

Life

Roland Baisch began his training as an actor in Amsterdam and Hamburg in 1976 and was engaged at the Braunschweig State Theater in 1978 . In 1979 he was one of the founders of the Scherbentheater in Stuttgart. In 1980 Baisch began developing his own pieces, including a. "Micro shock", "Harakiri a go go" and the like. a. Baisch has toured Europe and West Africa and has made guest appearances in the USA and Canada. He works with Badesalz and Jango Edwards on individual projects .

In 1992 the comedy group Shy Guys was founded . From the beginning of the 1990s, Roland Baisch also developed musicals. In 1994 he wrote the musical "Rats" and the satire "Schmonz Show". The rap music "Live is a party we're not invited" will appear on Broadway at the Douglas Fairbanks Theater. At the Comedy Festival "Just for laugh", Roland Baisch is a guest with the Shy Guys in Montreal. He worked with Otto Kuhnle and the director of Monty Python , Ian MacNaughton . Baisch played country songs with his own band as well as with his swing band, the Count Baischy Orchestra.

When he started as a gag author for Harald Schmidt , Baisch came to television in 1996. He became a writer and actor on the Pro 7 series Comedy Factory . This was followed by the nominations for the Rose of Montreux and the Golden Lion . He worked as an actor in " Otomo " (directed by Frieder Schlaich ), Window Games (directed by Barbara Rohm) and Maren Giltzer's Show (MDR). In 2001 Baisch composed the score for the feature film Santa Smokes and received the Studio Hamburg Film Prize for it. In 2016 he received the Baden-Württemberg Cabaret Prize .
