Gerd Ekken-Gerdes
Gerd Ekken-Gerdes (born December 10, 1956 in Hamburg ), also known as Gerd Gerdes , is a German musician and actor .
Life
In 1980 Ekken-Gerdes published his debut album Licht- und Schattensaiten . In 1986 he wrote the theme tune for the television series Ein trickler Fall , which was broadcast on Norddeutscher Rundfunk until 1988 . In 1987 the pop album Für Immer & Ewig was released . In 1989 he wrote the music for the short documentary The Contest by Gerhard Schwarz, which was shown in the 1991 Berlinale short film competition . In 1991 he contributed the music to the Tatort crime thriller Finale am Rothenbaum . In the same year, he and Reinhard Krökel founded the comedy duo Ekken, whose album of the same name was produced by Lonzo Westphal and was released in a limited number of 1,000 copies. In 1995 Ekken released the EP All Shit Except Mutti . In the same year Ekken-Gerdes and Krökel wrote new song texts for the second synchronization of the Czech-Slovak animation film The Creation of the World by Eduard Hofman from 1957. From 1996 to 1997 Ekken-Gerdes performed with Krökel through the sketch Neues from the Ekken Institute in the ProSieben series Comedy Factory . In 2006 he played in the episodes Der Froschkönig - Nobody hears you scream in the fountain and Hans im Glück - Bauschrausch im Märchenland in the ProSieben series with Die Märchenstunde . In 2008 he and Rainer Oleak wrote the music for the German-Italian animated film Barberbieni - Pauline's Adventure in the Vatican , which was produced by RTL . In 2011 he wrote the music for the early evening series Hubert und Staller (since 2019 Hubert without Staller ), in which he played the pub owner Siggi Baumegger in the first season. In the same year he wrote under the title Bert, oh Bert a German text for the hit Satellite , which Lena Meyer-Landrut sang in the series Sesame Street presents Ernie & Bert -Songs . Since 2016 he has been writing the texts for the songs composed by Rainer Oleak for the radio play series Die Hörbibel für Kinder , which is published by Don Bosco Verlag in cooperation with the German Bible Society . In 2013 he wrote the theme music for the television series Hammer & Sichl , which ran on Bavarian television until 2017 .
