Reiseienst Schwalbe is a thirteen-part television series produced by Studio Hamburg in 1969 on behalf of Norddeutsches Werbefernsehen GmbH . The first broadcast of the 25-minute episodes took place on Friday at 7:26 p.m. in the regional program of NDR on ARD between September 12 and December 5, 1969.
The director was Georg Tressler and the producer was Gyula Trebitsch . The scripts were written by Arno Alexander, Günter Dönges and Fred Ignor. Helga Mauersberger was responsible for editing the NDR . In the fourth episode cave ride with obstacles of the then 13-year-old had Jan Fedder his first appearance on camera.

The auto mechanic Joachim Franke takes over the garage from his uncle Hermann. The operation is more bad than good. Together with his wife Monika, who used to work in a travel agency , the couple forged a plan to boost business. They get an old bus , which they restore, and set up the Schwalbe travel service . With the help of brother-in-law Otto and Uncle Hermann, Joachim and Monika go looking for customers for the bus trips. Success quickly sets in with school trips, shorter trips and coffee trips . But this does not go unnoticed by the competition from migratory bird trips , which leads to trouble.
