Gisela Schneeberger (born October 3, 1948 in Dollnstein ) is a German cabaret artist and actress .

Even before starting school, the Dollnstein parents moved to Munich , where Schneeberger first studied psychology for a year after graduating from high school . An acting training at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich followed from 1971 to 1974. 1974 and from 1976 to 1978 she was engaged at the Schillertheater Berlin .

After 18 years of marriage, from which a son emerged, she separated from her husband Hanns Christian Müller in 1993 . She lives in the Maxvorstadt in Munich.

Film and television roles

She became known through numerous film and television roles in which the Bavarian dialect became her personal trademark. She often worked at the side of Gerhard Polt , whom she met in 1975, as in the sketch series Fast wia in real life (1979 to 1988). In the wiper of Dieter Hildebrandt (1980) she was often seen. In the successful series Monaco Franze - Der eternal Stenz (1983) and the carnival satire Kehraus (1983) she excelled in supporting roles as well as later in leading roles in Man speaks German (1988), Langer Saturday (1992) and Germanikus (2004). In the same year she was seen next to Andrea Sawatzki , Friedrich von Thun and Christian Berkel in the highly acclaimed ARD two-parter Helen, Fred and Ted . From 2009 to 2012 she appeared in the BR television series Franzi and from 2012 to 2014 in the TNT series - television series Add a Friend . From 2013 to 2015 she played the laundry owner Christa Bachmeier in the BR television series Im Schleudergang .

In 2014 she took part in the ZDF television film Das Zeugenhaus . In 2016 she played Frieda in the drama Bergfried . In the ORF / ARD television film For you, I'll turn back time (2017), she embodied the role of Erika, who had Alzheimer's disease. In the ZDF television film Bier Royal (2018) she played the widow of the family patriarch.
