Location and dates
Capaci is located 20 km west of Palermo directly on the Tyrrhenian Sea . The inhabitants mainly work in agriculture or live from tourism.
The neighboring municipalities are Carini , Isola delle Femmine and Torretta .
history
The place was founded in 1241.
On May 23, 1992, the lawyer Giovanni Falcone was killed with a bomb on the A29 autostrada near Capaci .
Archbishop and diplomat Salvatore Siino was born in Capaci in 1904.
