Salvatore Siino
Salvatore Siino (born October 5, 1904 in Capaci , Province of Palermo , Italy ; † October 8, 1963 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican diplomat .
Life
Salvatore Siino received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Monreale on April 5, 1930 .
On October 27, 1953, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Perge and ordered him to Apostolic Nuncio in the Dominican Republic . The Cardinal Vicar of Rome , Clemente Cardinal Micara , donated him episcopal ordination on November 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the secretary of the Congregation for the Extraordinary Mission of the Church, Archbishop Antonio Samorè , and Archbishop of Monreale, Francesco Carpino .
On March 14, 1959, Salvatore Siino became Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines .
Salvatore Siino attended the second session of the Second Vatican Council .
