Aliminusa is a city of Metropolitan city of Palermo in the Region of Sicily in Italy with 1,138 inhabitants (December 31, 2019).

Location and dates

Aliminusa is 71 kilometers southeast of Palermo . The residents mainly work in agriculture and handicrafts.

The neighboring municipalities are Alia , Caccamo , Cerda , Montemaggiore Belsito , Sciara and Sclafani Bagni .

history

The feudal property was acquired by Gregorio Bruno in 1625. In 1635 a village called Sant 'Anna was founded, from which Aliminusa emerged.

Attractions

The streets of the place are laid out regularly and at right angles. In the middle is the Prince's Quarter, which was laid out in the 17th century. The church of Sant 'Anna is also located here.
