action

When Leopold and Stefanie Wörmann eat the same dish in a posh restaurant, Leopold (alias Poldi) has a seizure. The doctor then found that Leopold had high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels in the blood, and Leopold was now prescribed a strict diet. Stefanie's values, however, are normal.

Leopold, who is the head of a freight forwarding company, invites a group of Japanese business people to his apartment to keep the business going, but this does not come true. In the Wörmann's apartment, Stefanie and her best friend Sophie Kurz prepare a feast with Austrian dishes, which makes the Japanese enthusiastic. Stefanie also creates Fuji . But Sophie serves Leopold instead of schnitzel tofu , whereupon the Japanese make fun of the saying “Herzerl Bum Bum”. Afterwards Leopold goes to the nearby sausage stand and secretly consumes cheese there .

Sophie Kurz has family problems. Her husband Peter left the family spontaneously for reasons that are still unknown. He also withdrew all of the money from the family's account. Daughter Tessa is about to graduate and asks for money. Sophie weeping laments her fate to Stefanie. Stefanie then borrows € 3,000 to Sophie, which excites Leopold.

Stefanie and Sophie then decide to set up a cooking duo under the title “Dinner for two - luxury at home” at a price of € 200, where they cook for two people in order to earn money, which should be done in cash, which Leopold doesn't either just agree.

Your first job with Professor Eichholzer, who behaved exaggerated, turned out to be difficult. She disdains Stefanie and Sophie's groceries because she reserved it herself and invited eight people (from high society ) to her feast. Stefanie and Sophie reluctantly process Ms. Eichholzer's supplies. Ms. Eichholzer now bottomlessly criticizes Stefanie and Sophie's dishes. There are also problems with champagne . When the last bill is to be paid, Ms. Eichholzer requests a payment slip . Stefanie and Sophie are now foregoing any money from Ms. Eichholzer.

Leopold goes for a walk on a rainy night, and by accident he splashes a young lady on the side of the road. Leopold now invites her to dinner and begins a love affair with her. He also gives her a large bouquet of roses. Leopold is not satisfied with the later meal in the young lady's apartment, which consists of sushi . In addition, the young lady is not talented at cooking Leopold's favorite dishes.

Tessa receives anonymous calls all the time. Tessa also stays away until late at night on the pretext of studying with her classmates. The conversations between Sophie and Tessa are not the best. In addition, Tessa is excluded from school because of a long absence. Stefanie and Sophie's next cooking spot is the homosexual and beauty-conscious George Haider. He appears in front of Stefanie and Sophie in women's clothing. Since his partner does not appear, he is generous and invites Stefanie and Sophie to dinner as his guests. George now instructs the two women in beauty care and cosmetics, and he also shows his test kit. Stefanie and Sophie now consume the beauty products and also forego money. George's partner, whom he ultimately rejects, also appears late.

Some time later Stefanie and Sophie cook for the young Mr. Seiler, who has invited a young girl to dinner. This is Sophie's daughter Tessa. When Stefanie happened to be served, she confronted Tessa. It turns out that Mr. Seiler Tessa borrowed money because Tessa owed Russians and was left sitting on the bill. Stefanie keeps this a secret from her mother Sophie and now refers Tessa out of Mr. Seiler's apartment. Stefanie also pays Mr. Seiler back her earnings because of Tessa's debts.

Stefanie and Sophie are now committed to the young lady who Leopold met. They have to work in secret and cook a large menu that consists of several courses. The young lady herself picks up the aisles. Little did Stefanie and Sophie suspect that they cook Leopold's favorite dishes. When Sophie happened to look into the dining room, she discovered the collapsing Leopold with the young lady. Sophie now refers Leopold from the young lady's apartment. However, Stefanie and Sophie earn 700 € this time.

At home, Stefanie finds Leopold exhausted and he confesses to Stefanie that he has recently eaten a lot of meat and that he decides to become a vegetarian .

Most recently Stefanie and Sophie worked for the old, cancer-stricken couple Merlet. Dr. Merlet receives the ladies and decides to drink an old sparkling wine from a previous decade. He also pays the ladies immediately. Mr. Merlet and his paralyzed wife have no appetite and leave the entire menu as they are no longer used to dinner. However, the Merlets thank you for the feast and Dr. As a farewell, Merlet hands Stefanie and Sophie jewels that they should not open until the next day.

At breakfast together, they discover a pearl necklace in the jewelry box. Sophie, on the other hand, received a brooch with a sapphire . Stefanie and Sophie go to the Merlets' apartment again. But there is a police and funeral contingent there because the Merlets committed suicide with a pistol.

Sophie decides to give up cooking and Tessa finds a letter from her dad from Australia including a plane ticket. It turns out that he bought a farm in Australia as his desire was to live far away and in the countryside. After an initial reluctance, Sophie finally agrees to emigrate to Australia with Tessa.

The film ends with a visit to a Viennese market by Leopold and Stefanie.
